Unfortunately there will not be a Green Tent running in Gordon in January 2010. The Green Tent Turramurra has places available for those people who had planned to attend the Gordon site. CLICK HERE to view the TURRAMURRA site page.

Below is a statement that has been issued by The Green Tent Gordon Team:

It is with sadness that I announce that we are not able to run the Gordon Green Tent Site this year. A number of factors have led to this decision.

• Firstly, we have not been able to secure an appropriate site for January 2010, with construction occurring at Ravenswood during the holidays and no replacement site able to be found.
• Secondly, I have had to step down from the position of Site Coordinator, and we have not been able to find the right person/people to fill this/these role/s.
• Thirdly, we are lacking key people to support the site coordinator/s in organising the holiday activity and lead the K-2, 3-6 and 7-10 sections.

We hope you recognise the time and effort that goes into organising The Green Tent, and that without the right people filling these key positions the Gordon site cannot go ahead. We hope to find the appropriate people for the following year, so that The Green Tent Gordon can return.
